INTRODUCTION
Polina Bogomolova — Women’s Portrait Photographer
I photograph real people — not perfect, not staged, not “Instagram-ready, ” but genuine and alive.
About Me
For many years, I’ve been looking at people through a lens — not to fix them, but to truly see them. Real. Alive. Sometimes uncertain, sometimes radiant — but always beautiful in their own way.
Photography entered my life in 2010 as a simple curiosity: a camera, a fascination with light, and a deep interest in how a person changes when they feel truly seen. Over time, that curiosity became a profession — and that profession became my way of speaking to the world.
I photograph women, couples, families — and the moments that deserve to be preserved gently: a new chapter, an important conversation with yourself, or simply a beautiful day. I love witnessing the moment when someone begins to open up — at first a little tense, careful… and then suddenly they exhale. And the real person appears. That is my favorite moment.
I especially love working with women. Perhaps because I know how difficult it can be for many of us to slow down, to speak kindly to ourselves, to create space just for us. For me, a session is a small gift to yourself — a pause in the middle of constant movement. A chance to see that you are beautiful, strong, and soft — even when you feel tired.
I am a photographer who loves people — not perfect, not prepared, not “Instagram-ready” but real. And if you come to me for a session, I don’t want you to leave with just photographs. I want you to leave with a feeling: “I am okay. I am beautiful. And I can see it myself.”

To make the images feel warmer and more effortless, I often show a few shots on the back of the camera during the session — it creates a feeling of co-creation.
I love this transparency in the process. When you see that “it works, ” something shifts — you become gentler with yourself.
Before each session, we take time to discuss the idea.
I create a small visual mood for you — references, colors, poses, the feeling of light.
I also have a curated mini wardrobe: sheer dresses, blazers, sequins — pieces that come alive beautifully in photographs.
I also bring a film camera and shoot a single frame intuitively — to capture something that might disappear a second later.
My approach is simple: I don’t hide you behind filters, and I don’t reinvent you in Photoshop.
I pay attention to light, skin texture, the way your hands move, the softness in your eyes — and I want your photographs to feel like you.
Alive. Honest.
